The Hungarian Wax Pepper is easily confused with the similar looking banana pepper, but is much hotter. These peppers can grow to be mildly hot peppers, they have a sweet hot flavor. When they turn red their heat level increase considerably. These peppers can be enjoyed pickled or you can use them for a bit of a crunchy addition to salads or other meals. Toss some directly on the grill and roast them up or stuff them for a delicious treat.
